Nero Caesar, the last Roman emperor of the Claudian dynasty, is particularly known for his
cruelty and the insane burning of Rome, while playing the lyre and watching from his palace. In
the end, the Senate and part of the Gaul army initiated a rebellion and forced him to flee, and
shortly after, at age 30, he committed suicide (68 AD). More than 2000 years later, Benjamin
Netanyahu, Prime minister and ‘Nero Caesar’ of Israel, is teaching a unique lesson of how to
destroy his country in revenge on his ‘humiliation’ of being accused for corruption. To
accomplish his ‘vendetta’, Netanyahu designed a lavish plan to demolish the judicial system that
prosecuted him and eradicate his trial. At first, he established a coalition to win the elections by
joining his Likud party with the religious parties as well as with two parties of extremist settlers
in Judea and Samaria (that exploited his personal distress), promising each of them excessive
budgets and high-rank positions in the government. Then he nominated a Likud party
companion (Yariv Levin), attorney in profession and obsessive against the Israeli Supreme
Court, to be the Minister of Justice. Levin immediately appointed Simcha Rothman, a far-right
religious member of the Zionism party, as chair of the Constitution, Law, and Justice Committee,
with strong motivation to enact radical changes in the legal system, mostly minimization of the
authority of the Supreme Court to control governmental decisions. Importantly, in the lack of
Constitution in Israel, a major function of this court is to protect citizens’ rights against an
abusing government. In passing a legislative cancellation of the over-ruling authority of the
Supreme Court, the door for corrupted nominations and dismissal of Netanyahu’s trial, has
been opened. This first legislative step incited enormous demonstrations all over Israel with
harsh consequences on the economy, security, and social infrastructure, which after more than
nine months did not halt the legal revolution. The next legislative steps are now under process
beginning with the replacement of the law ‘gatekeepers’, of the government and the various
legislative committees, to enable easy confirmation of any decision. Evidently, this step leads to
excretion of Netanyahu’s trial and encourages corruption of Knesset members. While
Netanyahu’s intentions are clear, the arising question is what are the reasons of all coalition
members to support blindly these steps, while ignoring the damages to Israel.
REASONS
Hatred of the Ashkenazi Jews by the Mizrachi (Sepharadic) Jews
Since the population of Israel is composed of a large variety of tribes from all over the world,
the immigrants from mostly the Arabic countries and the Maghreb (Morocco, Algeria, Tunis),
named Mizrachi Jews, have suffered years from cultural inferiority and social inconsideration
compared to the Ashkenazi Jews arriving earlier from Europe. Many of the Mizrachi immigrants
sustained an ‘inferiority complex’ that was constantly utilized by certain party leaders to fuel
their hatred and direct their votes in the elections. In the recent elections Netanyahu exploited

this deep frustration to establish a bloc of parties riding this ‘horse’ by their joining to his Likud
party;
The Impact of Arrogance and Ego of the Mizrachi Jews
Despite their social and cultural inferiority, the Mizrachi Jews have an exaggerated ego and a
hot temper. These characteristics explain their willingness to use every means to defeat the
liberal Ashkenazi opponents, while ignoring the devastating consequences to Israel. A suitable
example of such kind of personality is that of president Arduan, whose blown-up arrogance and
religious approach finally weakened the economy and social infrastructure of Turkey (ref. 1).
Following the last elections in Israel, many of the new coalition members found themselves in
the Knesset, often at high-rank positions, which raised uncontrolled aspirations and
opportunistic tendencies. In gratitude, these politically ‘nouveau riche’ individuals raise hands
blindly for any of Netanyahu’s whims.
The Enhanced Sway of the Religious Parties (ref. 2)
Approximately one third of the Israeli population is comprised of religious people (orthodox,
conservative, hasidic, light), of whom many are not employed, and spend their time in studying
the Torah. By joining Netanyahu’s Likud party, they constructed a strong bloc, that together
with the Judea and Samaria West Bank settlers was sufficient to win the last elections (64
mandates out of 120 in the Knesset). Their support of Netanyahu’s Likud party was
accompanied by vast financial expenses to compensate for their lack of economic productivity.
These people obey blindly their Rabbis, whose instructions are to support Netanyahu. In having
5-7 children on average per family, the growing religious population would definitely change
the demographic situation in Israel in the near future, as well as further increase the pressure
on the working, tax-paying population, that also serves in the army at ages 18-21 and in the
reserves thereafter.
The Social and Cultural Background of Most New Members in the Knesset
Most of the new coalition members in the Knesset arose from medium or lower-class layers,
and obviously, their promotion to powerful positions was on the condition of total obedience.
Most of them, of Mizrachi origin, hate the liberal parties, follow blindly their leaders and
Netanyahu’s whims, are aware to their power to nominate associates or family members to
various jobs (Nepotism), and use their duties to gain political power and personal wealth
(corruption).
The Increased Power of the Judea and Samaria Settlers
After four unsuccessful attempts to establish a government, Netanyahu added the two small
parties of right-wing extremists (living in Judea and Samaria) and together with the religious
parties, succeeded to collect 64 mandates that were sufficient to establish a coalition. For their
support, he appointed several of these extremists as ministers and deputies, with particular
irritating nominations of their leaders to high-impact governmental positions (e.g., Bezalel
Smotrich - minister of the Treasury, and Itamar Ben-Gvir - minister of the National Security of
Israel). Regrettably, these two individuals have no professional training for their duties, and
their nominations seem like ‘letting the cats secure the whipped cream’.

The Rising Control of the ‘Qohelet Forum’1 in the Government
The ‘Qohelet Forum’ is composed of numerous members from a variety of professions including
lawyers, academicians, media advisors, and officials. Yariv Levin, is their highest representative
in the government and together with Simcha Rothman, the head of the Constitution, Law, and
Justice Committee, is determined to complete the legal revolution. Both obey the instructions
of the Qohelet leadership with ancillary intentions to the legal revolution to shed over Israel a
religious way of life. Noteworthy, the chaotic situation is being exploited by several coalition
members, who ignore the destructive situation in Israel while striving to accomplish personal
desires of power and wealth.
Fear
Total obedience that resembles that in Romania during the tyranny of Nicolae Ceausescu is
compulsory in the Likud party. Any disobedient member with a different perspective is rejected
from the coalition. The fear of being expelled from the party and government (losing their good
life) overcomes any national patriotism, and so they are all ‘obedient soldiers’.
DISASTROUS CONSEQUENCES
1. The loss of balance between the judicial arm (especially the Supreme Court) and the
legislative arm (Knesset) with eradication of the control over false governmental decisions
leads to a surge of corruption, which has already begun.
2. The loss of judicial control transforms Israel from a liberal democracy into a dictatorship,
where Netanyahu and his close companions are able to implement any decision on their
mind. Yariv Levin, the current deputy to the prime minister and eventual successor of
Netanyahu is not an independent objective mind but the main representative of the ‘Qohelet
Forum’ in the government. Under the unexperienced Levin as prime minister, Israel would
most likely deteriorate further into a total chaos.
3. Upon the establishment of a dictatorship, the religious population might unite to become
the largest party in the next elections and so extremists in the new government might
continue their plan to constitute a ‘Halacha State’ and rebuild the Jewish temple at its
original site. This means demolition of the Al-Aqsa mosk built by the Muslims on the site of
the Jewish temple, which no doubt, will incite a world war. Unbelievably, these Jewish
fanatics have already imported red-skin cows to be sacrificed at the gate of the renovated
temple (following a 2000 old tradition).
4. Many liberal high-tech Israelis, medical doctors, scientists, air-force pilots and cyber
experts already announced their relocation due to their unwillingness to live and raise
families under a dictatorship2. This would most likely destroy all aspects of the Israeli
1 The Qohelet Forum (established in 2012 by Prof. Moshe Koppel from Bar-Ilan University) advertises its policy
as a conservative, libertarian, right-wing, non-profit Israeli ‘Think Tank’ aiming at weakening the power of the
Supreme Court and its ability to overhaul decisions of the legislators in the Knesset (ref. 3). Most issues raised in
the current Judicial Reform (Legal Revolution) led by Yariv Levin and Simcha Rothman have been dictated by the
Qohelet Forum. Further contemplation raises questions as to their hidden intentions, and why is it so important
for them to make these changes. It seems that the official declarations conceal further intentions related most
likely to the establishment of a ‘Halacha state’.
2 Strong impact declaration of the pilots, air-force officers, and cyber volunteers, who quit service due to the legal
revolution: ‘We are ready to serve our country, but not a dictator’.
