ABSTRACT
The purpose of this paper is to mathematically define cords of consciousness (CoC)
and consciousness by the act of brain neural patterns, wherein neutral patterns
represent synchronized groups of neurons. The outcome of neural patterns
represents the cords of consciousness. Conversely, the cords of consciousness
exhibit neural patterns. Cords of consciousness represent the space of information
embedded within the one, unique, timeless, and dimensionless metaphysical
space. This paper elaborates on the physical and metaphysical relationships
between physical brain neural activity and the metaphysical sensation of
consciousness. For example, dreams, lucid dreams, ideas, memories, and out-of- body sensations (OBE or astral projection) are conscious metaphysical sensations
that result in physical neural activity in the brain. Individual consciousness is
defined as the collection of an individual’s cord of consciousness. Furthermore,
consciousness is a virtual junction in the metaphysical consciousness virtual net,
where each junction incorporates a set of cords of consciousness. This set can be
limited, unlimited, or unaccountable. Cords of consciousness can be learned from
the brain's neural patterns; thus, memories can be manipulated by installing
external neural patterns that create sensations of artificial consciousness.

INTRODUCTION
Throughout history, humans have endeavored to understand, define, and study
consciousness. Various theoretical models and scientific studies have explored this complex
subject; however, the relationship between physical neural activity and metaphysical
outcomes remains unclear. Notable examples include the theoretical models of consciousness
reviewed by Sattin et al. (2021), mathematical perspective on human consciousness by
Grindrod (2022), and models proposed by Seth (2018). Despite the abundance of the
scientific literature, the precise nature of consciousness still lacks a definitive mathematical
exploration of the metaphysical – physical relationship.
This paper aims to demonstrate the mathematical connection between brain neural activity
and the resulting metaphysical sensations, which we term the "cords of consciousness."
Building on previous works by the author, for example, [4], [5], [6], and [9], this study

emphasizes the bidirectional influence between brain neural activity and metaphysical
outcomes. Surprisingly, the reverse relationship—where metaphysical sensations such as
dreams, lucid dreams, ideas, memories, and out-of-body experiences (OBEs or Astral
Projection) influence brain neural patterns—is also significant. These metaphysical
experiences, termed "cords of consciousness," trigger neural activity, as explored in this
paper.
Searching for consciousness within the brain alone is akin to seeking a radio broadcaster
within a radio set itself. Scientific exploration of consciousness faces two major challenges.
First, subjective experience often fails to meet the criteria for objective and replicable data,
complicating its study using traditional scientific methods. Second, many phenomena
associated with consciousness do not fit comfortably within a conventional scientific
framework. For example, the common-sense notion that conscious volition can cause event
conflicts with the scientific assumption that a deterministic universe is governed by causal
laws.
The purpose of this paper is to show that consciousness can be explained and defined logically
through mathematical modeling, that consciousness is not unique to a single person, and that
there is no causal relationship between consciousness and a unique body. One may
experience a noncausal sensation, such as unrealistic dreams, that are never experienced by
physical sensors or during awareness.
We begin by introducing the concept of a metaphysical, nondimensional, timeless space.
THE METAPHYSICAL SPACE
Definition 1: The Metaphysical Space
The metaphysics space is the “void” and the “void complementary” space [4], [5], [9].
The Void is a timeless total emptiness without any description. However, due to the existence
of the void, a complementary to the void exists. The void complementary does not represent
matter such as the universe. If the universe is “void complementary”, then the universe must
be complete, which is not, just by the fact that the universe is evolving, contradicts its
potential completeness.
The void complementary is a dimensionless, timeless, unique complete space that
incorporates any potential possibility, such as that of our lives. However, for life to be
realized, a spacetime universe with a sensation of matter should exist. The perception of the
existence of matter is provided in [4], [5], and [9]. A few anecdotes are provided below.
Theorem 1
The metaphysical space does not incorporate matter.
Theorem 2
The metaphysical space is one, complete, nondimensional, timeless space.
